God is changing lives every week at Friendship Church. Behind each changed life is the service of many volunteers. Each role is vital to the body of Christ. Come, serve with us and delight in the joy of serving others!

Serve Teams offer a variety of ministry opportunities that can best suit your passion, personality, and availability.

Acts of Friendship


Volunteers help our congregation and community with painting, lawn care, repairs, oil changes, haircuts, sewing, etc. as needs arise throughout the year.

Administration


These volunteers give of their time and talents to perform various office and administrative tasks.

Adult


Adult Ministry volunteers include LifeGroup leaders, Men’s and Women’s Ministry leaders, as well as Seminar and Core Discipleship leaders.

 

Care


Care Ministries exist to comfort and care for individuals with the truth and love of Jesus Christ. Opportunities include Care Visitor, DivorceCare and GriefShare facilitators.

Connections and Hospitality


Opportunities include Greeters, Ushers, Welcome Center Hosts, Communion Set-up, Communion Bread Bakers, and special events Hospitality teams.

Facilities


Facilities Serve Team volunteers are part of an on-going team. Volunteers will help with various maintenance projects that arise at the church throughout the year.

 

Kids


Kids Ministry volunteers provide love, care and encouragement to ages newborn through grade 5, through Sunday school, AWANA and special events.

Kitchen


This is one fun, but busy ministry that always has room for more enthusiastic volunteers. Friendship has a multitude of ministries and programs, many of which serve food.

Men


Men's Ministry volunteers include opportunities to strengthen and sharpen guys by planning events or serving on the steering committee.

 

Missions


At Friendship Church we believe God gave us the mission to be His witnesses, not only in our communities and region, but even to the ends of the earth.

Prayer


The Prayer Ministry of Friendship wants to ensure that prayer is an integral part of the church because we are a community that believes in the power of prayer.

Safety


The Safety Team exists to safeguard people and facilities. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.

Second Harvest


On the second Thursday of every month, we run a free food distribution and need 100 volunteers to serve low income families or those going through a time of crisis.

Women


Women's Ministry volunteers include Bible Study Leaders and Event Planning, fostering opportunites to spend time seeking God and connecting with one another.

Worship


Volunteers serve in the band and vocal teams, media, lights, sound, and other technical aspects of our worship services to glorify God.

Youth


Youth Ministry volunteers serve with youth in grades 6 - 12 during Wednesday night programming, youth retreats and special events.
